Day 1 : Lisbon

Arrive in Lisbon – capital of Portugal. It is also known as “the town of the seven hills”.

Day 2 : Lisbon – Fatima – Lisbon

Visit Shrine of Fatima – An important center of faith in the Catholic world which includes Basilica of our Lady, House of Lucia and the Parish Church. Free time for shopping.

Day 3 : Dalhousie: Off to ‘summer retreat’ of British India

City orientation tour includes Monument to the discoveries, Belem Tower, Alfama Quarter and Castelo de Sao Jorge (St. George’s Castle), Baixa. Later visit Jeronimo’s Monastery from inside with the Tomb of Vasco-da-Gama. Proceed to Seville. Arrive in Seville.

Day 4 : Sevilletour

Visit the massive cathedral with the Tomb of Christopher Columbus, Moorish Giralda Tower, Santa Cruz Quarter with flower decked balconies, a photo stop at The Alcazar – 12th century Moorish Royal Palace and the Ultramodern expo site – a small scale model of “Victoria” the first vessel to circumnavigate the globe. Enjoy the Flamenco Show with dinner.

Day 5 : Seville – Malaga – Granada

Proceed to Malaga. Arrive in Malaga – The southernmost large city in Europe – it lies on the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) of the Mediterranean. City orientation tour includes Roman Theater, The Cathedral and The Town Hall (Ayuntamiento). Arrive in Granada in the evening.

Day 6 : Granada – Madrid

Visit Alhambra Palace from inside. Proceed to Madrid – the capital of Spain. Visit Prado Museum – a museum and art gallery located in Madrid. It features one of the world’s finest collections of European art.

Day 7 : Madrid – Toledo – Madrid

Visit to Royal Palace from inside followed by city orientation tour which includes the Plaza de Espana, Sabatini Garden, Cervantes Statue, Cibeles fountain, Parliament, Puerto del sol. Proceed to Toledo – A World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage and historical co-existence of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures. Visit the city’s most famous monuments such as St Tome Church, Santa Maria la Blanca Synanogue.

Day 8 : Madrid – Barcelona

Proceed by train to Barcelona. Later free time at Barcelona beach front.

Day 9 : Barcelona

Visit Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Later enjoy city orientation tour which includes Olympic stadium, colorful La Ramblas and Statue of Christopher Columbus. Take a cable car ride to Montjuic hill to get a panaromic view of the city and Tibidado hill and visit Montjuic Castle. Free time at the waterfront area to roam around and to enjoy souvenir shopping.
