Day 1 : Dharamshala: Welcome to Dalai Lama’s land

Dazzling start to your family holiday in Himachal

Upon your arrival at Chandigarh railway station/ bus stand from your respective hometowns, you will be received by the agent’s representative and driven to Dharamshala by a private cab. After an overnight journey, you will reach Dharamshala. Check into the hotel and relax to get over the travel fatigue.

The remaining part of the day 1 of your Himachal family tour itinerary is at leisure and you can either choose to stay indoors or go out exploring local attractions of Dharamshala. The day that started with an overnight journey, ends with a piping-hot dinner and a comfy overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Optional: Visit the Dharamshala cricket stadium which is considered as the most beautiful cricket stadium in the world (own arrangement).

Day 2 : Dharamshala: City tour

An exciting second day awaits you to explore Dharamshala and its attractions.

After having breakfast with your family at the hotel, this day of your Himachal family tour package takes you to visit the prime attractions of Dharamshala including the prominent Tibetan monasteries, Bhagsunath Temple and the gorgeous views of Bhagsu Falls.

You will also get to explore another popular tourist place in the vicinity of Dharamshala- Mcleod Ganj. Primarily known for picturesque beauty and toy-town cityscape, Dal Lake in Mcleod Ganj is a great place to enjoy picnicking with family. Mcleod Ganj is also a prominent place where various ailments are treated using rare Buddhist medicines having herbal ingredients. Also visit the Church of St. John- an Anglican church that was constructed way back in the year 1852. Later in the evening, return back to the hotel for a delectable dinner and a cozy overnight stay.

Day 3 : Dalhousie: Off to ‘summer retreat’ of British India

Third day of your Himachal family holiday takes you to Dalhousie.

After having a toothsome breakfast, check out from hotel and embark upon another scenic journey to the dazzling Dalhousie.

Enjoy the admirable natural beauty as you go past picturesque landscapes to reach Dalhousie from Dharamshala. Post arrival in Dalhousie, check in to the hotel and unwind. The remaining part of the day is at leisure which you can spend relaxing inside the hotel or exploring the nearby attractions of Dalhousie and the local market. A sumptuous dinner and a homey overnight stay at the hotel marks an end of the third day of your Himachal family tour itinerary.

Day 4 : Dalhousie: Dalhousie city tour

Get yourself ready for a sightseeing tour in Dalhousie.

Post breakfast, you will be taken out for a sightseeing tour of Dalhousie which lets you visit Panchpula- a charming picnic spot with gushing streams and waterfalls.

Next you will visit Subhash Baoli which is a perennial natural hot water spring named after freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. It is believed that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose used to drink water from this natural spring during the days he meditated here. In the afternoon, leave for Khajjiar which is also known as ‘mini Switzerland of India’ and visit the famous Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. Return back to the hotel in Dalhousie for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 5 : Dalhousie: Adieu Himachal
