Assam - Meghalaya

Assam is famed for its sprawling tea gardens, wildlife sanctuaries like Kaziranga National Park, and the mighty Brahmaputra River. Meghalaya, on the other hand, is known as the "Abode of Clouds," with its cascading waterfalls, living root bridges, and lush green hills. The clean village of Mawlynnong and the caves of Cherrapunji are some of Meghalaya’s highlights. Together, these states offer a mix of cultural richness, natural beauty, and unique experiences.

Best Time to Visit: November to April for comfortable weather, clear skies, and exploring waterfalls and wildlife. Avoid monsoons (June-September) due to heavy rainfall.

Weather: Summers (20°C-35°C) are warm, while winters (10°C-20°C) are mild and ideal for travel.
